Some misunderstandings that need to be avoided when using hydraulic tube expander
For the four types of adjustable tube expanders, namely straight tube, flange, deep hole and bearing type, the expansion shell must be retracted to the small end of the expansion rod first, and then the tube expander is inserted into the tube, and then the expansion rod is pushed forward, so that the expansion rod, the expansion bead and the inner wall of the tube are all close to each other, and then the expansion rod is driven by a ratchet wrench or tube expander to rotate clockwise, and the expansion rod automatically moves forward, and the expansion bead rotates in the opposite direction, rolling on the inner wall of the tube, forcing the metal of the tube wall to extend and increase the diameter of the tube until the expansion requirements are met. When withdrawing, just rotate the expansion rod counterclockwise, and the expansion rod will automatically withdraw, and it can be taken out of the tube after it is loosened.
Before expansion, the adjustable expander must adjust the positioning sleeve to the appropriate position by adjusting the nut according to the expansion length requirements, tighten the positioning screw, and then use it according to the above four expander operation methods.
Before expansion, the deep hole adjustable expander must adjust the positioning sleeve to the appropriate position by adjusting the nut according to the expansion depth size, tighten the locking nut, and then use it according to the above expander operation methods.
